What we measure on every hat
On a cap we take 10 measurements, each twice, with a tailor's tape, a steel ruler and a 0.1 g scale. Then 7 photos from fixed angles, the fit on a measured head, and a dated log of every workout or run the hat was worn for. A hat needs 3 logged sessions before we say anything about how it wears.

The hat database
Hat profiles appear here as hats are measured, and only then. Each one carries the measurements above, the photos, the fit on a measured head and its wear log. A best-of list goes up only when at least 8 measured hats qualify for it.
